The local skip hire firm had been assigned a difficult mission by spec

The local skip hire firm had been assigned a difficult mission by special branch. They had to work out which was better from a motoring standpoint; a bike or a moped.
This was by no means an easy thing to ascertain, as both vehicles have their good and bad points. A moped does not require any effort on the part of the driver in order to function problem, and while it does make a nice vroom noise which is pleasant enough to the ear it does require petrol and petrol costs money and money is usually kept in banks and I never see as much of it as I would like. On the other hand, a bike is cheap and easy to maintain but requires a lot more effort from the person who is riding it in order to get it from point a to point b in one piece.
The motoring council were also breathing down their necks, as they too wanted to learn the answer to this most baffling of problems. Thebike was tested to the limits of its endurance, as was the moped, and the skip hire firm were at a loss to decide which one was best so they just gave up completely and decided that the only way to shut the motoring council up would be to murder them all as they slept.
This task was one much better suited to their talents. They were used to breaking and entering and arson and murder; they enjoyed it, in fact, as a break from the routine of hiring out skips and then making sure that they were returned safely and within the hire period allocated. That sort of thing got really boring really fast, and each and every one of them longed for some sort of action and drama in their lives. Their random acts of wanton destruction and meaningless violence provided this outlet for their talents.
Unfortunately, some elephants soon arrived and wanted to hire out a skip, and so the staff of the local skip hire firm had to deal with them for now.
