I am tired of travelling around on my scooter. I need a change. My friend, Alex, suggests to me to get a proper motorbike. I reminded him that a scooter is a motorbike. Alex sneers. He disagrees. He says that a scooter is a poor version of motorbike. I ask him the reason for him to claim so. He goes speechless for a while, before he tries to sound smart by saying that scooters are for girls. I remind him that I am a girl and tell him to grow up.

My problem is definitely not Alex. Alex is a nice guy, when he is not trying to be a jerk. I need a car. The old junk my father left me is in a bad shape. A friend at work told me before that if I do not have enough money to get a new one, perhaps I can look into motor trade. Surely there are some who do not mind buying up old cars.

I like the idea but I am not sure if I should. I do not trust motor trade. I am definitely going to be honest to the trader of my father's car condition. It is impossible to expect the old car to go far. Somehow I am thankful that I have my scooter to rely on. However, on rainy days, I wish I have a car.

There are days when I cannot bear riding my scooter. I remind myself to ask my colleague for any tips to make that I do not get conned on motor trade. I cannot bear to think of the idea of losing money and own another useless car.

Alex laughs when I tell him. He is right. I have been arguing in my head, thinking of motor trade, possibility of being conned and disliking my scooter but yet I have not thought of the one important issue - my licence. I have to get a licence. This makes me worry about anything money related issue. I have to save up to pay for those car driving lessons. So, perhaps I should be nice to my scooter. I am going to be stuck with it for a few months.
